Islay has a deep passion for teaching and empowering others, and takes great pride in her broad scope of study and use of custom solutions. She recognizes that no two people are the same; therefore no two solutions are the same, and she takes very seriously her commitment to work diligently with each client to find what works best for them. She is continually seeking to increase her knowledge and credentials so that she can serve others as best she can, and lead by example, never ceasing to grow. She has studied naturopathy and eating psychology, among many other related subjects, and is currently working on a Masters degree in Transformative Learning and Teaching at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
Islay has been practicing yoga for 15 years and teaching for 3 years. Her 200-hour Yoga Alliance Accredited teacher training was completed at Power of Now Oasis in Bali, Indonesia, where she also completed a 20-hr Yoga Alliance Accredited SUP yoga teacher training.
